Home School Enrichment Courses
The Beacock Music Home School Enrichment Courses will be offered for Kindergarten through 4th grade and 5th through 8th grade. Courses will be offered in 4 week sessions.
For the Kindergarten through 4th graders, each session will focus on a specific style of music. In each session the students will learn about the different instruments that are used, the influences of and the music of that style.
For the 5th through 8th graders, each session will focus on a specific time period. They will learn about the time period including history, music, architecture , instruments, etc.
Each course is $35.00 per session and has a 20 student minimum. Sign up by using our printable form.
Kindergarten through 4th Grade
Each session will focus on a specific style of music.
In each session the students will learn about the different instruments that are used, the influences of and the music of that style.
In each enrichments course students can be expected to learn the following about the style of music:
- Exposure to different instruments
- Learning to play different instruments
- Making instruments
- Cultural dances
- Cultural influences
- Major composers

5th through 8th Grade
Each session will focus on a specific time period.
In each enrichments course students can be expected to learn the following about the specific time periods:
- History
- Music
- Architecture
- Instruments
- Composers
Courses could include hands on learning of an instrument.
