Kindermusik for your childEach Kindermusik class is a world of discovery and adventure. In every class, you'll witness your child's developmental evolution in language skills, literacy, listening, problem solving, social skills, self-esteem, and musicality. And it happens within a nurturing environment full of energy, imagination, music, dancing, and playful delight.
Kindermusik provides the time and tools to help bring the power of music into your home and your child's life forever. An integral part of every Kindermusik program, your Kindermusik At-Home Materials include the highest-quality music CDs, creative activities, beautifully illustrated children's books, and specially designed instruments-created to complement the music and Kindermusik classroom experience.
By adding new concepts and challenges along the way, each age-appropriate program acts as a stepping stone to the next-paving the way to a musical journey that can last seven magnificent, musical years.
Beacock Music offers classes for newborns to age seven. The classes are once a week for 45 minutes or 60 minutes (depending on the age). Prices vary depending on class.
Kindermusik is the community of families and teachers passionately committed to bringing music to children's lives through developmentally appropriate curricula, CDs, books, instruments, and activities for our classes and for family time at home.
Kindermusik's philosophy is founded upon rigorous research and our fundamental beliefs:
Miss BettinaBettina Ferraro earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Montana State University, and her Master of Arts in teaching at Grand Canyon University in Pheonix, Arizona. She also studied under the Royal Conservatory of Music system in Canada, until her move back to the states in 1997.
She has enjoyed working in church music ministries, working with both adult and children's choirs, as well as participating on worship teams. She is a music director of Christian Youth Theater, and currently sings in a dance band. Bettina feels called to teach because she believes in striving for excellence, while making music fun and accessible to all ages and abilities.
Her hobbies include training for triathlons, writing and gardening. She loves spending time with her family, biking with her husband and 3 children, and traveling.
Although Bettina's main focus is teaching music, I also like to take opportunities to perform whenever I can. I was involved for two seasons of singing in Bellingham Festival of Music under the direction of Michael Palmer, and have performed at local community events.
Lisa MeloMusic has always been an integral part of Lisa's life. The daughter of music teachers, she grew up singing, playing piano and flute. She continued her vocal training and studied Music Education at Warner Pacific College.
She is now a licensed Kindermusik Educator and teaches beginning piano, flute and voice. She has enjoyed participating on the worship team, the children's ministry band and special needs ministry at church, has been a member and guest soloist for the Vancouver USA Singers, a keyboardist and vocalist for a local dance band, and played in an occasional musical for Christian Youth Theater. Recording a CD of lullabies and prayers was one of her favorite projects.
She loves to share the joy of music and the many benefits it imparts to children of all ages.
