Guitar, Ukulele, Piano

Allison is a classically trained musician, teacher, and performer from the Central Valley of California. She is setting down roots in Vancouver and is eager to take on new students. Allison has been performing since her marching band days in high school, and when she’s not on a stage either performing her classical repertoire or her original singer-songwriter music, she’s in a class connecting with students through a love of music. She loves helping students achieve their goals and ignite their passion for music. Having had years of experience as an ABA therapist, she teaches students of all ages, skill levels, and abilities. She individualizes her lessons plan for each student because every one learns differently.

She spent years touring around and performing in the west coast where she was nominated for several local songwriting awards. She then went on to complete her Assocaites degrees in 2019 where she graduated Cum Laude. Through her schooling, she learned music theory, ear training, production, composition, performance and more! Currently, she is studying at the Berklee College of Music earning her Bachelors Degree in Guitar Performance.

She believes strongly in positive reinforcement for her students. Her lessons are always based in music theory so the students can learn the how’s and why’s of everything they play. Her goal is to always set students up to be life-long musicians. This always starts with a strong foundation and understanding of the basics, and of course a lot of review and knowledge checks. She has been commended by students for her patience and encouragement. Most of all, she is looking forward to meeting you soon!
