JáTtik Clark Tuba Clinic

 

Join us for a FREE engaging opportunity to learn from acclaimed tubist and educator JáTtik Clark, Principal Tubist of the Oregon Symphony!

This educational clinic is designed for student musicians who want to strengthen their sound, deepen their musical understanding, and develop tools for more effective, independent practice. The session will explore foundational concepts of low brass playing, including sound production, breathing, and musicianship, with an emphasis on thoughtful self-assessment and growth as a performer. 

When: Saturday, March 14th at 2:00pm on the second floor of Beacock Music.

Who: Everyone is welcome! While centered on tuba, the clinic will include concepts applicable to low brass players, including euphonium, trombone, and bass trombone.

An Eastman Performing Artist, JáTtik Clark brings extensive experience as an orchestral musician, chamber performer, and educator working with students of all ages. His approachable, conversational clinic style encourages participation, demonstration, and questions, offering students insight into both the practical and artistic aspects of being a performing musician.
