Summer String Camp
Dates: Students are welcome to attend one, two, or all the classes! Classes will progress, but the curriculum is designed for students who pop in to still be able to participate. Questions, let us know! Give us a call or come by!
- June 18th-July 10th and a two week break and then classes resume July 30th-August 21st
- Concert on Saturday, August 23rd at 3:00pm
Price: This fun workshop is $20 for each time that you attend! Again, you can attend to as many or as few classes are you able to! There is a discount for attending all 8.

Who: This fun summer class is for Violin, Viola, Cello, and Upright Bass players
Workshop Times:
Wednesday 4:00pm-4:45pm for Level 1/ Novice
- Can read and play notes on the A, D, and G strings
- Has started learning notes on the 4th string
- Can correctly count and play whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, and eighth notes
- Can play some slurs
Wednesday 3:00pm-3:45pm for Level 2/ Intermediate
- Can read and play easily on all 4 strings
- Can correctly count and play 16th notes, triplets, and dotted quarter notes
- Can play some 3rd position on violin or viola
- Some 4th position on cello
Thursday 4:30pm-5:15pm for Level 3/ Advanced
- Has performed difficult rhythms and 6/8 time
- Extensive work shifting positions
- Is ready for more challenging music
- Wants to audition for Chamber and/or Honor Orchestra
